I introduce CSI New York. I love mystery and suspense. I want to
introduce other CSI series and Criminal Mind, but now I have to introduce 1
drama. CSI means Crime Science Investigation.
The
1st episode of first season, there are six characters. First, I
introduce Mack “Mac” Taylor. He is the chief of the lab in N.Y. He lost his
wife in the September 11 attacks. He thinks teamwork is first. Even if a person
disturbing the ring of the team is a close subordinate, he is severe, and he
scolds the severely. However, he trusts a subordinate very much, but is always wants reason. Therefore, he is respected by everybody of the
laboratory.
Second, I introduce Stella Bonasera. She has a nickname as
"the Statue of Liberty" from tough intention and decision,
intelligence. She grew up as the orphans of a Greek and the Italian person of
mixed parentage in a child nursing home. A letter reaches the laboratory from
her in Episode 1 in the seventh season, and it is shown that she was
transferred to New Orleans as a chief.
Third, I introduce Danny Messer. He
spent the childhood raised in a downtown area, and was miserable,
and he and his family had a shallow relation to the dark side of society. Therefore,
he has a unique sensitivity and view of ethics. On the other hand, he is always
saying a joke, and he respects Mac.
Fourth, I
introduce Sheldon Hawkes. He was the New York City autopsy station coroner. He was
a genius who graduated from a university at 18 years old and acquired the
qualification of the surgeon at 24 years old. He has the experience of
several years in the emergency care room.
Fifth, I introduce Aiden Burn. She
has love and will to work. She resigned from CSI in Episode 2 of season 2. After
retirement, she had acquired the license of private detective while she looked
for evidence that connects a rape incident and a person. She was tailing the
person in Episode 23 of Season 2. However, she was ambushed, and everyone
didn’t know that she was beaten to death, and here corpse was cremated. She
was left in the form of finding fatal evidence for hunt down the person to co-worker
in the meantime who was about to be killed.
Finally, I introduce Donald “Don”
Flack, Jr. He is a detective of the New York City police department. His family
are police officer and he continues it for the 3rd generation, and his friendly
relations with CSI may collapse because he loves the police. He is very strong
in the sense of justice and goes in the manner that does not have a pardon for
the evil. Many descendants of Irish immigrants work in the New York City Police
Department, he is one of those people. So, he speaks Gaelic.
The
title is "Blink". First story begins with Mac in church. After
that someone called him by mobile phone. He went to the crime scene and received a
description of the dead body from Flack. The victim was woman in her late 20s and she
has no ID. She is killed in different location, and abandoned. Expansion due to
gas had begun. Because of that, hole of the belt is shifted two. This means that the
offender has dressed her after death. A serial killing case begins here. Another
body is found. The common points between the two people, that there is a contusion around the
neck, they were having a stroke. Victim of the second person was found in the
garbage. Aiden and Danny found a camera from there. Part of photographic
negative was broken, but others could be developed. They understood that it is
a camera of the second victim. Most photographs were sightseeing, but there was one photo that no one knows. That was the photograph which
she threw kiss to photographer at a place. They think it is a hint for that
location, and Mac was to determine the location by triangulation. They went there and they found one woman who was still alive. She was victim of third person. From
the fact that pupil is contracted, so she was alive. Two victims were
killed, and one person is serious condition. The third victim is alive, but she has no
pain and is in a comatose condition. Mac took a photograph of around her neck and took
her fingerprint to inquire into her birth and
parentage. She blinked her eyes when she apologized for Mac having made her
feeling unpleasant. The blink is not accidental. The criminal has medical knowledge.
She has "locked‐in syndrome". It is a rare neurologic disease, and the muscles of
the whole body except both eyes are paralyzed. A heart is shut in the body, but
the consciousness is normal. However, the recovery is difficult. The criminal
performed intentionally, and he got the hang of it. From the fact that the victim
of the first is found to be a Russian woman who were discovered in the second.
Two people abandoned because the killer failed, woman in hospital was alive because
he was successful. Mac would get answers to questions by the blinks of third victim. Her
condition became worse when she looked at the pictures of landlord on the way. They
investigated thoroughly, but the fingerprint is not in the house. So, Mac tried
the laser and rhodamine. As a result, Cyrillic characters came out. It came out
B・I in Russian. The initial was birth and parentage acceptor of the Russian victim. He
was a doctor in the former
Soviet Union. He defected to the U.S.A. He confessed to his
having gone for his ego. They resolved the case, but third victim did
not wake up. Mac went to see her and he began to talk about his wife’s things.
His wife was killed in September 11 attacks and he discarded all of her things except a beach ball which his wife inflated. Because the
breath of his wife is inside in it. After that, he went to ground zero by
cab and saw names. It’s the end of this episode.
I
recommend this series because it is very interesting. I want you to watch it!
